My favorite producer of all time is James Yancy AKA J Dilla. He is know throughout the hip-hop community as the best producer of all time. He created his own style of creating music by not using the usual method of quantizing his beats sections through his production software he was able to create off kilter beats that sounded very strange and unique but soulful beats. He used so many different samples in the small time he was making music before he tragically died of a rare disease in 2006.
